COTTO D'ESTE ENHANCES THE PRESTIGIOUS PROJECT BY STRAMIGIOLI ASSOCIATI FOR GALLERIA IGINIO MASSARI
Piazza Diaz in the centre of Milan: here you can enjoy all the city’s charm from a smart, sophisticated and gourmet location. Since 2018, Galleria Iginio Massari, established by the master pastry chef of the same name, has been a Milanese hotspot. Designed by Stramigioli Associati, the shop is a gallery of culinary artworks.
To achieve this goal, the architects focused on discreet, high-quality and elegant materials that capture the light coming in from the shop windows, make the sweets and delicacies on display more striking and create a fresh and vibrant atmosphere.
Cotto d’Este covered the focal point of this space – the eye-catching counter – with Kerlite 5 plus Exedra Calacatta Silk in the 50X100 cm format. Anyone who approaches the counter and places their hands on it will feel the distinctive silk effect, the result of a special mix of precious minerals applied on the surface. The exquisite marble effect, on the other hand, is guaranteed by the Calacatta colour, a white shade with delicate veins.
The false ceiling and the walls are covered with Kerlite 5plus Materica Bianco in the 50X100 cm format, which results in a highly stylish space with a distinctly personal touch. Both collections in the store are part of the Protect line, which offers antibacterial surfaces with superior performance, allowing you to use the space in a safe and healthy way. Partly thanks to the Cotto d’Este surfaces, a visit to Iginio Massari Patisserie becomes a sensory experience.
