RELAIS SAN LORENZO

The project

  • Location Bergamo - Italy
  • Date 2013
  • Studio Arch. Adolfo Natalini
Relais San Lorenzo is located in the magnificent setting of Bergamo Alta: a unique place, a melting pot of history, luxury, nature, wellness and excellent food.
The modern profile of the building, intertwined with the stone walls and the old plaster of the historic buildings that surround it, is strikingly beautiful and harmonious. The Relais is in one of Italy’s oldest walled towns where it is possible to immerse yourself in art, culture and history and enjoy an absorbing, relaxing and one-of-a-kind break. The amenities, typical of a luxury hotel, coexist with incredibly seductive spaces where the past comes back to life with strength and charm.  At the San Lorenzo everything is designed to ensure guests have a holiday they’ll never forget, immersed in one of Italy’s most stunning historic centres.

Product used

KERLITE plays its part in this process with its innovative large sizes, used to tile the bathrooms and prestigious rooms. The choice fell on a material that is not only highly technological but also extremely refined, undoubtedly adding aesthetic value to the structure.

Kerlite’s high-level technical performances, particularly in terms of its durability and stain resistance, make this material the ideal choice for hospitality structures like this refined hotel.  In fact, the use of the exclusive 1mx1m size means that grout lines are all but inexistent, guaranteeing maximum levels of hygiene.
