A commercial space that seeks to open itself up to the city, becoming a sort of interior town square that seamlessly extends the urban environment. This is the concept behind Boutique Branà 1915 in Altamura, designed by Pierluigi Percoco, architect and co-founder of B + P architetti.
Inspired by Giorgio De Chirico’s “Italian Piazzas”, with their repeated archways defining and enclosing a space, the boutique is dominated by the colour white, serving as a blank canvas on which to dramatically showcase the store’s clothing. Every piece of décor is designed to evoke a metaphysical space, with the cube and sphere positioned in the centre of the store embodying this concept perfectly.
