At the 2024 edition of the Archiproducts Design Awards, which celebrate excellence in international design, Cotto d’Este’s Arketipo received the Sustainability Award. The award was presented by an international jury comprising some of the world’s most renowned architects, designers, journalists, architectural photographers and creative directors, who recognised projects distinguished by their research, quality and ability to go beyond convention.
Arketipo by Cotto d’Este received the Sustainability Award, adding another important accolade to the collection and to the research behind its development. Arketipo is available in different thicknesses, ranging from large ultra-thin 6.5 mm slabs, a hallmark of the brand and the result of exclusive technology, to 14 mm slabs. The production process enables a significant reduction in energy consumption, while the 14 mm slabs incorporate 40% recycled material, along with the complete recovery of production water, reduced waste and a recycling rate of almost 100%.
