From 17 to 21 January, Paris is opening its doors to Maison&Objet, the trade fair dedicated to home décor, interior design, architecture and lifestyle. Cotto d’Este will participate in the event with a dedicated corner within the Ceramics of Italy area (Hall 6 Today - Signature - Stand O112 / P111). On this occasion the company will present LITHOS, the collection inspired by the Portuguese stone Gascoigne – a particularly fine limestone –, which boasts the details and characteristic veins of marble. The result is a completely new aesthetic, capable of combining the beauty of limestone with sophisticated and subtle inlaid marble streaks. Tradition and innovation come together in a perfect combination that draws inspiration from two historical and iconic materials, translating them, thanks to Cotto d’Este’s technological expertise, into a completely original product.
The warm and neutral colours range from light grey to dark grey, dove grey and beige, resulting in a collection distinguished by its extremely refined shades. The sophisticated treatments come in 5 different variants: Naturale, Lappata, which is coated but not glossy, with an opalescent effect typical of worn marble, Grip, for outdoor installation, and the innovative Sabbiata with its specially designed structure, graphic effect and colour, ideal for outdoor installation, all 14 mm thick.
Cotto d’Este’s range of extra-thick surfaces is completed by its selection of large thin Kerlite 6plus slabs (6.5 mm thick), available in all colours and in the 120x260cm and 120x120cm formats in the Naturale and Soft finish. The Naturale, Lappata, Sabbiata and Soft versions are part of the PROTECT line: anti-bacterial, high-performance floor and wall coverings for a healthy, safe and protected home.
