The concept of this independent private house is a synthesis of the ideas and personality of the owner, who wanted to blend architectural sensitivity, technological practicality and the pragmatism typical of a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Villa Affinito fits into the traditional Casertano territory as an unprecedented experiment involving geometries and materials in a dynamic game of transparency and volume.
A major element of the project, strongly desired by the client, is the dialectic between the inside and the outside of the house, which is resolved through a series of formal solutions which provide for continuity between the living spaces and the green surroundings of the house.

Kerlite 3Plus slabs, in two colours (Via Condotti and Via Tornabuoni of the ELEGANCE collection) in the 40x100 cm format, were vital for the creation of precise elements, able to stand the test of time. This kind of solution was used for the entire outer cladding, where the continuity of the slabs is interrupted in a timely manner by large windows. Different technological solutions have helped to minimize the visual impact of the frames and supports, thus creating the desired compositional rigour. The experimentation process involving different materials is also reflected in the choice of the flooring and ceiling finishes.
